Temu“—a meeting point where traditional craftsmanship converges with contemporary design. The intersecting X-shapes represent the coming together of ideas, cultures, and functions, while the modularity reflects the adaptability of Malay heritage in modern contexts.

Temu celebrates the intersection of tradition and modernity through its bold yet minimalistic design. Inspired by the structural geometry of Malay craftsmanship, the intersecting X-forms evoke the essence of anyaman (weaving) techniques, symbolizing unity and resilience. This structure, shared across the stool, table, and sofa, reflects a sense of balance and adaptability, much like the values embedded in Malay architecture and culture.

The warm, reclaimed wood material lends an organic touch, connecting the design to its roots while embracing modern functionality. By scaling this modular structure into versatile forms, Temu transforms furniture into a bridge between tradition and modern living, fostering a deep appreciation for cultural identity in everyday spaces.
